Fredrica Webb Varnell

Fredrica Webb Varnell was born July 24, 1931, to Allen Mark Webb and Maggie Mae Stallings Webb. She married Ollen Brooks Varnell on January 24, 1948.

Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on March 14, 2024 at Macclesfield 1st Christian Church with burial following at Macclesfield Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Marguerite W. Dukes (Bill), and two brothers, Allen Mark Webb, Jr. (Nell) and Ned Webb; and brother-in-law, Jim Potts.

She leaves behind two sisters, Edith W. Potts and Arlene W. Jackson (Grant).

Mama leaves behind five children, Margaret Ann V. Abrams (Arthur Allen), James Allen, Betty V. Stallings (Roger), Michael Ollen (Teresa) and David Brooks (Carlene, fiancé); and nine grandchildren, Robin Lynn Abrams Cunningham (Tim), Arthur Allen Abrams , Jr. (Elanah), Allison Abrams McKeel (Sherwood), Shannon Denise V. Cambra (Billy), Howard (Tre) Wright Stallings, III (Courtney), Stephanie V. Marquart (Greg), Brandi Rae V. Ellis (Ross), Cortney Varnell, and Lauren Brooks Varnell.

Grandma Freddy also leaves behind eleven great grandchildren, Eric O’Neal, Asher Jackson Abrams, Blake McKeel (Skylar), Clay McKeel, Elijah Howard Stallings, Caleb Wright Stallings, Drake John Marquart, Broc Michael Marquart, Kianna Payton, Braylon Payton, and Lorelei Brooks Spurling, and one great-great grandchild, Colton Jackson McKeel.

Mrs. Freddy also leaves behind her companion and caregiver, Ella Battle.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Macclesfield 1st Christian Church but flowers are welcome.

Visitation will be at 2:00 – 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Macclesfield 1st Christian Church.
