Amos W. Parker passed away on Sunday, July 1st, 2018 at the age of 80.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday night, July 3rd from 6:00–8:00pm at the home on 1209 Rodgers Drive in Tarboro.

Amos was a wonderful husband and father to his wife Melba of 60 years and two sons, Steven and Martin. A devoted gardener and fisherman, Amos was also known for his cooking skills.

Survivors include his wife, Melba Parker; his sons, Steven Parker, Martin Parker and his wife Brenda; daughter-in-law Julie Barnett; grandchildren Amber Parker, Daniel Parker and Dylan Parker; and beloved dog Buddy.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Tarboro.
