Bessie Dail Sanderson, age 83 of Tarboro passed away on February 27, 2018.

She was born on February 27, 1935, the daughter of William and Bessie Braddy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband’s Joseph Lee Dail and Fred Sanderson; daughter Virginia Leggett, son Jimmy Ray Dail, brother, Ben Braddy and sister, Edna Bell.

She is survived by sons, Willie Dail and wife Sandra, Joe Dail and girlfriend Diane Foulk, Eddie Dail and wife Noreen, Timmy Dail and daughter Ann Dail Padgett, daughter in law, Janice Whitaker Dail and brother Alton Braddy; grandchildren, Sue Leggett Via, Curtis Leggett, Jr., Jaxie Dail Williams, Stacey Dail Everett, Joe Dail Jr., Steven Dail, Jennifer Dail, Greg Padgett, Clint Padgett, Scott Dail, Emily Dail Robertson, Jeremy Dail; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, her beloved pets, Kipper, Macy and Blackie.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Carlisle Funeral Home from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.

There will be a graveside service on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Mildred Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Mildred, NC.

The family is also receiving visitors at the home of Ann Dail Padgett, 5576 US Highway 64 Alternate E., Tarboro, NC.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Mildred Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 68, Tarboro, NC 27886.
