Lillian Scott Pridgen, 87, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019 with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Greenville, NC on June 21, 1932 to Henry and Maddie Scott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Henry Jones; son, Albert Scott; daughters, Tracy and Victoria Jones; brother, Mack Scott; sisters, Emily and Christine Scott.

She is survived by her daughter, Angie Pridgen (Ronnie); grandchildren, Brittany Jelovich (Michael), Brian Pridgen (Cameron); great-granddaughters, Amelia Pridgen and Charlotte Jelovich; brothers, Fred Scott, John Scott, Huddie Scott, George Scott, James Scott and Danny Scott; sister, Bessie Edmondson.

She comes from a very big family of seven brothers, three sisters, a host of wonderful nieces and nephews; and a very special sister-in-law, Edith Scott that gave her so much comfort during her visits. She enjoyed spending time with a wonderful friend Brenda Creech, and visiting Sunrise Grill. She treasured all of her family and friends and would light up with every call, every card and every visit.

A memorial service to celebrate Lillian’s life will be held at a later date.
