Shirley Jean (Daniels) Boseman

Mrs. Shirley Jean Boseman, age 78 of Tarboro, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital.

Shirley always thought of others. Her passion was cooking cakes. She loved taking them to others that were sick and also to those that gave her wonderful care such as her doctors and nurses, or just because she loved you. She will surely be missed by all who knew her. 

She was preceded in death by her mother and father James and Lethia Harrell Daniels; brothers, Robert and William Daniels; and son-in-law Frankie Goff.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, George Boseman, Jr. of Tarboro; daughters, Teresa Boseman Cherry and husband George of Tarboro, Angelia Boseman Goff of Tarboro; sister, Rosa Pittman (John) of Whitakers, brothers, Billy Daniels (Ruth) and Randolph Daniels (Margo) both of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren Christopher Course, Christal Trevathan (Dan) and Heather Goff; and a great-grandchild Ryan Stevey.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 2:00 Pm in Brentwood Pentecostal Holiness Church. The family will receive friends and other relatives one hour prior to the service at the church. The interment will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery, Tarboro.
