Tony Edwin Harris, 49, passed away last night at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was never alone thanks to his loving aunt Kim and his children.

A graveside service will be held at the place Tony loved the most. Join his family and friends at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 16, at Tony’s home to celebrate his life at the Tony Harris Family Cemetery.

Tony was born in Edgecombe County on October 9, 1968 to John Robert Harris and Lula Grimes Harris. He was preceded in death by his father.

He leaves behind a son, Jamie Harris and wife Ashley; two daughters, Mary K. Harris and her fiancé Tyler Sampson, and Julie Harris; four grandchildren who he loved dearly; Hunter Harris, Johny Harris, Ava Sampson, and Abigail Harris.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday night from 7:00-9:00pm at Carlisle Funeral Home.
