Mr. William Randolph Warren, age 85 of Tarboro, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, November 15, 2018.
William’s passions were spending time with family, his furry companions, fishing, gardening, or traveling around the world. His love years ago was playing music with his band called “The Ramblers”. He retired from Dixie Yarns as a plant Engineer after many years of service. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. William lived a full life. He was a kind and gentle person that loved the Lord and would help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Owens Warren, mother and father Arlean White Warren and Willie Hyman Warren; sons Curtis Michael “Mike” Warren and Jeffrey Allen “Jeff” Warren.
William is survived by his daughter Sheila Sanderson of Tarboro; son Randy Warren of Elm City; step daughter Becky Chaney and husband Gerald of Oak City; step-son Lonnie Woodard and wife Debbie of Tarboro; sister Merle Early and husband Shane of Va. Beach; brother Earl Warren and wife Glynda of Washington, NC and Speedy Warren and wife Patricia of London, KY, five grandchildren, Amy, Jason, Donald, Jr., Dustin, and Billy; four great-grandchildren; and special friend Edith “Edie" Osnoe of Washington, NC.
A Celebration of William’s Life will be held in the chapel of Carlisle Funeral Home on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 2:00 Pm with the family receiving friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Edgecombe Memorial Park in Tarboro.
