Ada Bell Warren Roebuck, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2020 with her children by her bedside at Edgecombe Health and Rehab Center of Tarboro.

Due to the Covid-19 virus, a private graveside service will be held Thursday in Oak City Cemetery with family members only.

She was a member of New Grace Baptist Church of Tarboro for more than 65 years. She retired from Carolina Enterprise after 35 years of faithful service. Ada was a wonderful loving Christian wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother. She had a special love for her caretakers at Edgecombe Health for the past 5 years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Florence Johnson Warren; husband, Willie Simon Roebuck (Jack); infant daughter, Jackie; son, Willie Simon Roebuck, Jr. (Buddy).

Ada is survived by her loving family including daughters, Margaret Jones and husband, Bill, Debra Roberson and husband, Keith, sons; Jesse Roebuck and wife, Carolyn and Michael Roebuck; sister, Thelma Warren Pearson; grandchildren, Denise Whitley, Greg Jones, Angie Roebuck, Corinne Roebuck, Amber Dennis, Alan Roebuck, Molly Roebuck, Eric Joyner, Dustin Whitehurst and Nicole Marsigli; great-grandchildren, Brittany Andrews, Tiara Winstead, Elijah Miller, Landon Boykin, Kayla Cambell, Kailey Bevins, Isaac Cambell,  Armani Cambell, John Dennis, Taylor Joy Dennis, Bobby Dennis, Morgan Whitley, Matthew Jones, Abby Jones, Andrew Staton, Dawson Marsigli and Carson Rae Marsigli.

If desired in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to New Grace Baptist Church, 1213 Newsome St., Tarboro, NC for bibles and renovations at the church to further God's word.
