Allen B. "Mike" Wilson, 80, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg, NC, officiated by Reverend Bill Haley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard A. and Kathleen R. Wilson; sisters, Bernice W. Jones and Rev. Mamie I Wilson; brothers, Walter J. "Billy" Wilson and Richard E. Wilson Sr.

Allen is survived by his wife, Ann P. Wilson; daughter, Suzanne C. Marchiol (Kenny); son, Timothy A. Wilson; grandsons, Santino, Angelo, and Nicco Marchiol; and sisters, Yvonne W. Lewis and Debra Sherron (Larry).

Allen was a former member of Calvary Baptist, Fellowship Baptist, and Faith Assembly all in Henderson, NC. He was a student of the Bible and led many people to the Lord. He had a genuine love and concern for his fellow man, and regularly prayed for people, and read scripture to those in need of comfort. Allen was a Prison Chaplain for Gilburg Prison as well as a Chaplain for Mariah Parham Hospital in Henderson. He was an insurance salesman for Wilson Insurance Co., the Community Resource Coordinator for Warren, Vance, and Franklin Co., Deputy Sheriff for Edgecombe Co., and Radio Dispatcher for NC HWY Patrol.
