Mr. Alton Ray Lewis, age 75, of Pinetops passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Wilson County in 1944 and also known on the CB Radio as "Cobra Man". He was preceded in his death by his wife, Jenellia Lewis who he loved and cherished dearly; survived by his children, Teresa Owens and husband Harold Owens, Steve Lewis and wife Roxann Lewis.

His grandchildren, Kacie Owens and wife Katherine Owens, Cierra Lewis and fiancé Brian Winchester, and Taylor Lewis. He had two great grandchildren, Kylie and Acie Owens.

He was also loved by many family and friends.

A Celebration of Alton's Life will be held Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Carlisle Funeral Home with the interment following in the Edgecombe Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home on Wednesday , May 8, 2019 from the hours of 6 PM until 8 Pm.
