Amelia Knight Dilda

February 27, 1930-March 29,2018

Amelia Knight Dilda, 88, passed peacefully, surrounded by her family, and entered her eternal home in Heaven on the evening of March 29, 2018.

She was born in Falkland, NC to James Lawrence and Eva Dupree Knight. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Franklin Dilda and son, William Louis Dilda and her parents.

She is survived by her loving family including her son, Lawrence Dilda & wife, Grace, of Raleigh; daughters, Carol Dilda Brann & husband, Jerry, of Fountain, and Paulette Dilda Tucker, and husband, Larry, of Nashville, NC; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.

She dedicated 30 years serving alongside her deceased husband as a devoted and loyal pastors wife.

A graveside celebration of Amelia's life will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018, at 2:00pm in Edgecombe Memorial  Park, Tarboro, NC.

The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home Saturday, March 31, from 12:30-1:45pm.
