Amos Jackson, Jr., 74, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Carlisle Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Edgecombe Memorial Park.

Amos was in the U.S. Army and was in the Vietnam conflict. He retired from Spectratex.

Amos was preceded in death by his parents, Amos Barber Jackson, Sr. and Katie Penwell Jackson, and his brother, Randy Jackson.

He is survived by his sons, Wayne Jackson (Jessica); Joe Jackson (Becky); grandchildren, Grayson Jackson, Brooke Jackson, and Kate Jackson; sister, Linda Skinner (Alton).

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Carlisle Funeral Home and other times at his home, 807 E. Country Club Dr., Tarboro, NC 27886.
