Aubrey Eugene Edmonds, 73, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Tarboro Church of God with Rev. Sammy Wood officiating. A private entombment will take place after the service.

Aubrey owned A.E. Edmonds Electric Company. He loved the outdoors especially hunting, fishing, and enjoyed finding treasures with his metal detector as well as collecting coins. He also enjoyed raising chickens and reading crime novels. He had a love for the Lord and his Church.

Aubrey was preceded in death by his sons, Aubrey Eugene Edmonds Jr. and Linwood Lewis.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy W. Edmonds; daughter, Tina Lewis Cavaliere (Mark); son, Herbert Lewis III; 9 grandchildren; and siblings, William Edmonds and Virginia Jones.

The family will receive friends at their home, 7455 Hwy 33 NW, Tarboro, NC 27886.
