Barbara Joyce Calloway (Mema), 84, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, December 30, at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Rev. Jordon Willard officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.

Joyce was married to Jack Calloway for 54 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Nothing made her happier than having a family to visit or "junking" with Monica or taking road trips.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lola Mae and Snell Norris from Sarasota, Florida; husband, Jack Calloway; son, Mike Calloway; grandsons, Baby Lynch and Jason Calloway.

Joyce is survived by her loving family which includes her daughters, Sharon Lynch and husband Wayne; Janda Latham and husband Steve; daughter-in-law, Gloria Lyndaker and husband Casey; grandsons, Greg Lynch and wife Brandi, Tyler Lynch; granddaughters, Paige Medford, Kaitlin Keel and husband Brandon, Monica Latham; great-granddaughters, Hayden Ezzell, Clara Williams; great-grandson, Ryder Ezzell; sister, Linda Taylor; and sister-in-law, JoAnne Calloway.

The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home on Saturday from 6:00-8:00pm and other times at the home, 83 Fillmore Road, Tarboro, NC.
