Barbara Fields Radford, 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022, peacefully with her family by her side.

She was born on March 9th, 1936, in Greene County to Harry and Lossie Fields.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Kermit Roger Radford Sr.; daughter, Terri Ann Radford; parents, Harry and Lossie Fields; sister, Dorothy Fields Barrow; brother, Harry Lee Fields, and good friend Kermit Lawson.

She is survived by a loving family that includes a daughter, Panis Kirkland and husband, Terry of Tarboro. Son, Roger Radford and wife Annette of Tarboro. Her sister, Neil Sauls of Shine. Grandchildren, Samuel Anderson and wife Mallori of Tarboro, Will Anderson and wife Jenny of Moosic, PA, Trey Radford and wife Abby of Pinetops, Lexie Radford and fiancé Josh Hudson of Tarboro. Great-grandchildren, Katie Grey, Isaiah, Caleb, Peyton, and June Anderson; Jenkins, Caitlyn, Brilen, Haley, Vin, and Lewis Anderson. Someone she loved as a daughter, JoAnn Lawson. Along with a host of other nieces and nephews and family friends.

She was a dedicated member, elder and faithful servant of Rock Church of Tarboro for many years of her life. She was known to all that loved her as "Nanny". She loved Jesus, sweet tea, and her family more than anything.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 8th, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at FaithHouse Church of Tarboro. A celebration of Barbara's life will be held at FaithHouse Church of Tarboro at 11:00am on Tuesday, August 9th. Burial will follow at 1:00pm at Snow Hill Cemetery.
