Barbara Ann Simms Alderman, 58, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday at Carlisle Funeral Home with Steve Alderman officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.

She was born in Edgecombe County on November 5, 1962 to John Winston Simms and Helen Tripp Simms.

She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Danny Alderman; daughter, Jennifer Pearson (Cory); mother, Helen T. Simms; sisters, Helen Baker (Danny), Debra S. Bailey; brothers, Bobby Simms (Mae), John Boy Simms (Martha); granddaughters, Abigayle Holloman and Mariha Holloman.

The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home on Thursday night from 6:00-8:00 PM, and other times at the home of Debra Bailey, 2704 Anaconda Rd. Tarboro, NC.
