Ben Carl Stroud, 83, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Ben was a devoted, longtime member of Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church. He dedicated 19 years of service to Thurston Motor Company before continuing his career with Avery Trucking Company, where he worked for 15 years until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Jesse and Janey Shaw Stroud, and his 6 siblings.

Ben is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ann Stroud; daughter, Denise Stroud; son, Toby Stroud and his wife, Anita; grandson, Hunter; granddaughters, Josie and her husband David, Sarah, and Hope; 2 great grandchildren; and many nephews and a niece.
