Mrs. Betty Ruth Brown, age 79 of Tarboro, passed away at Prodigy Transitional Rehab on October 29, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father Ethel Mae Rivenbark and Roy Pigg, and her husband Oscar H. Brown.

She is survived by her daughter Judy Brown Dennie and husband Allen of Conetoe, NC; sons Ronnie H. Brown and wife Hanna of Rocky Mount, NC, Rudy Lynn Brown and wife Edna of Little Washington, Bobby Ray Brown of Wilson, NC and Donnie Lee Brown and wife Susan of Tarboro, NC; brothers Melvin Cannon and Sammy Cannon; sisters Shirley Brown, Marge Schwebe and Shelby Burks, 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Betty's life will be held graveside at Edgecombe Memorial Park on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mike Chatt officiating.

The family will be receiving friends and at Carlisle Funeral Home on Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 4:00-6:00 PM.
