Billie Wray Sox Lynn was called to her eternal rest with God on Sunday February 25th.

She loved the Lord with all of her heart, worked hard all of her life, and persevered through many trials. Her family and faithful dog "Mitzi" were by her side as she left this earthly world early Sunday morning and found peace from the sickness that she had fought for so long.

She was born on December 17, 1929, the daughter of R. Vaughn Sox and Ada Adele Sox.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Roger Lynn, her beloved sister Margaret Sox Daw and an infant brother Bobby.

She is survived by her sons Mike Lynn and his wife Debbie, James "Porky" Lynn and his wife Wanda, and Alton "Al" Lynn; grandchildren; Melissa Lynn Dodge and husband Mark, Crystal Lynn Wood and husband Chris, Heather Lynn, Erika Lynn Trevathan and husband Michael, Jamie Lynn Anderson and husband Brandon, Abby Lynn, Roger Lynn and fiancé Nicole; great grandchildren; Michael and Aaron Fleming, Collin Wood, Hailey, Mary Katherine and Bella Trevathan, Will and Kerr Anderson.

A visitation will be held on Thursday March 1, at 10:00am at Word of Life International Church with the funeral service at 11:00am. Interment in Edgecombe Memorial Park will follow the service. Bishop Jesse Blalock will be officiating.

The family is also receiving visitors at the home of Mike and Debbie Lynn, 1505 Colony Drive, Tarboro, N.C. 27886.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to the Word of Life International building fund.
