Mr. Billy Ray Harrell, age 72, of Pinetops passed away at his home.

He was preceded in death by his father Jenniss Ray Harrell, brother JB "Johnny Brooks" Harrell and former wife and best friend Mona Harrell.

Billy served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his mother Sarah H. Harrell of Pinetops, daughter Karen "Michelle" Harrell of Old Sparta, son Jerry Pierce and wife Beth of Old Sparta, grandchildren Heather Taylor of the home, Brooke Pierce significant other Dustin Britt of Old Sparta, Cole Pierce and Fiancee' Cyla Myrick, great grandchildren Na'Raya A Harrell and Daelan B. Harrell, sister Jean and husband Dennis Harrell of Lumberton, brother Mike and wife Joyce Harrell of Nashville many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home on Friday, December 20, 2019 from 1 Pm until 2 Pm.

A Celebration of Billy's Life will be held on Friday at 2 Pm in the Chapel of Carlisle Funeral Home with the interment following in Pineview Cemetery,Pinetops.
