Mr. Billy F. Wood, age 83 of Tarboro, NC passed away at his home on August 7, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Catherine, two daughters Vicki of Indiana and Kathi of North Carolina, five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, one sister Betty Moody of Alabama, and several nieces and nephews. Billy was preceded in death by his parents George and Emma Wood, four brothers Wilburn, Duel, Alden and Donald Ray, three sisters Opalean Dutton, Melba Skovria and Doris Darmer all of Alabama, and grandson Steven Schindley.

Billy retired from the Public Works, Water Department of Schererville, IN.

A celebration of Billy's life will be held at a later date.
