Bobbie Donald Greene, 71, passed away on September 29, 2023. Bobbie was born in Murfreesboro, NC and resided in Tarboro, NC. He was the son of the late Clarence Lee Greene and Gustavia Channing Greene.

Graveside service will be at 3:30 PM on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Macclesfield Cemetery, Macclesfield, NC.

Bobbie enjoyed working with his hands, hunting, fishing, helping friends, and repairing mechanical equipment.

Left to cherish his memory is his four children, Bobby Donald Greene Jr. of Macclesfield, NC, Steve Greene (Alyssa) of East Flat Rock, NC, Phillip Greene (Jenniffer) of Tarboro, NC, and Amy Pierce (Tim) of Pinetops, NC, 10 grandchildren, Kayla, Jackson, Axel, Kamryn, PJ, Kourtney, Madeleine, Terry, Victoria, and Teaghan, 1 great-grandchild, Olivia, two sisters, Lois Rogerson and Betty Greene, 1 brother, Clarence Greene Jr. Bobbie is preceded in death by his sister Mary Greene Boone and his daughter in-law Gail Greene.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 - 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Carlisle Funeral Home.
