IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bobby Lewis
Brantley
September 22, 1933 – November 14, 2024
Rev. Bobby Lewis Brantley , 91, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at his home.
Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Grace H. Brantley; father, Elijah Brantley; mother, Pearlie L. Brantley; brothers, Daniel Brantley, Alvin Brantley, and Ernie Brantley; and sisters, Edith B. Curtis, Myrtle B. Strickland, and Maxine B. Lowery.
He leaves behind his sister-in-law, Alice S. Harris, and many nieces; nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews.
Bobby was a dear soul. He was a great friend to everyone he met, and always ready to lend a hand or have a prayer with and for you. He worked at Nashville Building Supply as a setup man where the company made cabinets and furniture. He was an excellent craftsman and made many pieces of furniture for his house and for his friends.
Bobby was a Pastor for over 40 years at Church of God of Prophecy and then at The Church of God. He also served as Church Camp Counselor for many years. He will be greatly missed by all that know him. Bobby was a very quiet and gentle warrior for God.
One of Bobby's favorite things to do after he retired was to mow grass. He had three wells in the yard to water the grass so it would grow so he could cut it, sometimes even 2 times a week.
Graveside service will be at 2:30 PM on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Harris Family Cemetery.
