Bobby Ray Sessoms, 85, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025.

Visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 am on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Carlisle Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 11:30am in Macclesfield City Cemetery with James Owens officiating the service.

Bobby was a part of the Lewis Community Fire Department for many years and also helped it start up. Bobby was a good mechanic, known not just for his skill but for the kindness he showed to everyone around him. He enjoyed helping everybody, never hesitating to lend a hand or offering advice with a warm smile. Bobby could light up any room he stepped in, his presence bringing comfort and laughter to those lucky enough to know him. Above all, he loved his family deeply and fiercely, always putting them first. He would give the shirt off his back without a second thought, a true reflection of his generous spirit and loving heart. Bobby will be remembered not only for what he could fix, but for how he made people feel.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nora Lee Sessoms; wife, Fannie Pearl Sessoms; son, Bobby Wayne Sessoms; and siblings, Joseph Lee Sessoms, James Henry Sessoms, Eugene Sessoms, and Hazel Bradley.

He is survived by his son, Jimmy Sessoms; grandchildren, Dustin Ray Sessoms, Caleb Davis, Aaron Sessoms, and Jonathan Sessoms; 5 great grandchildren; additional family, Brittney Maurice Skinner and her children, Doug Sessoms, Estell Medford, Cody Watson, Bobby Watson, Bennie Sessoms, Josh Skinner, .
