Brittany Maecey Carter, 32, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Mildred Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Dew officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 until service time at the church.

She is survived by her loving family which includes her daughter, Emma Mae Shrock; fiancé Jason R. Shrock; parents, Mitch and Janice Carter; brother, Mitch Carter, Jr. and wife Angela; niece, Madison Carter; nephew, Dylan Carter; several aunts, uncles and cousins; a host of friends; and her fur babies, Ruger and Pepper.

Brittany was a former employee of Tarboro Animal Clinic. She was now employed with Animal Care in Greenville. She had a great love for people and animals. Brittany had a contagious laugh and the biggest smile. She enjoyed life to the fullest with her family, many friends and her fur babies. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
