Bryant Scott, 85, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, N.C.

Funeral service will be held Monday, April 29, 2019 at 2:00 pm, First Free Will Baptist Church, burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park with the Rev. Stanley E. Buck, Jr. officiating.

Bryant was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Susie Pearl Scott.

He is survived by his family, including his daughter, Hope Foreman (Donnie Harrelson); son, Glenn Scott (Mary Lou); grandchildren, Robert Foreman, Suzanne Foreman, Deanne Shearon, Christie Destefano, Kimberly Long, Bethany Sykes and Jeff Sewell; Eleven great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home Sunday on April 28, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and other times at the home of Glenn and Mary Lou Scott, 701 Williamsburg Dr., Tarboro.
