Carl E. Shelton (affectionately known to his family as "Tater"), 87, passed away on Friday, June 05, 2020.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 7 in Elmwood Cemetery, Enfield, NC.

He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn P. Shelton; daughter Kimberly Kokoruda; brothers, Bill Shelton and Jimmy Shelton.

He is survived by his loving which includes his son, George Shelton; grandsons, Troy Kokoruda (Dora); Eric Kokoruda; Anthony Troy Jr.; Anthony Stephen; Matthew Carl Crews Kokoruda; Kimberly Rose Kokorudam, Erich Carol Kokoruda; brothers, Kyle Shelton, Frank Shelton, Doug Shelton; sisters, Margaret Shelton and Hazel Shelton.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Carlisle Funeral Home.
