Carol W. Padgett, 76, died Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital.

Funeral service will be held Monday, February 8, 2021, 3:00 pm at First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Bobby Forehand officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Carol was a lifelong member First Pentecostal Holiness of Tarboro; she loved The Lord and enjoyed the fellowship with her church family and friends. She will be remembered for many things, but she could bring joy to a person with those delicious cakes and pies she made. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Padgett and a daughter, Dee Alford.

Carol is survived by her loving family, including her daughter, Melinda Gaye Phillips and her husband, David; grandchildren, Mackenzie Johnson and her friend, Terry Richardson, Matthew Johnson and Kendall Phillips.

Family will receive friends at Carol's home, 2226 St. Andrews St., Tarboro, Sunday February 7, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm.
