Carolyn Felicia Wilmoth Jeffries, 78, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home on Saturday, September 7, from 1:00-3:00pm and other times at the home, 417 Wayne Ave., Tarboro, NC.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 3:00pm in the chapel of Carlisle Funeral Home with the Reverend Jordon Willard officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.

Carolyn was born in Pitt County on December 12, 1940 to the late Julian and Ora Wilmoth.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Durwood Jeffries; daughter, Felicia Jeffries Roebuck and husband Richard, of Tarboro; son, Bernie Jeffries and wife Teresa, of Wilmington; grandchildren, Samuel Eason, Jr., Thomas Eason, Paige Jeffries Smith and husband Charlie; great-grandson, Mason Smith; sisters, Barbara Webb, of South Carolina and Miriam Lewis, of Tarboro.
