Mrs. Annie Catherine Register Powers, age 86 passed away on June 17, 2022 at WakeMed Raleigh Hospital.

She was predeceased by her husband, Wallace O. Powers, and husband, Carlton Moseley, her parents, Ralph Henry Sr. and Mildred Brittain Register, and brother, Ralph Henry Register, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Steven D. Powers of Harkers Island, NC; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth P. and Harry J. Lawrence of Raleigh; sister, Alice White of Cove City, NC; brothers, Walter E. Register of Cove City, NC and Roger W. Register of Pinetown, NC; grandsons Morgan B. Powers, Alexander Lawrence and Jackson Lawrence, and many nieces and nephews.

She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church choir for 49 years. She retired from Sprint after 30 years of service.

Catherine was a Master Gardener, an avid bridge player, and she loved to sew and create beautiful needlework projects.. She was working on her lifelong dream of making a cathedral window quilt. She made friends wherever she went and truly loved her new home at The Gardens of Wakefield in Raleigh.

A service will be held in the Mausoleum at Edgecombe Memorial Park on June 30, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
