Charles David Cummings, 91, passed away on Friday, April 06, 2018.

Charlie is preceded in death by his wife Ludie Cummings, Mother Betty Cummings, two sons Curtis and Phillip Cummings , sisters Annie Owens, Ruth Lewis, Patsy Walters and Josephine Robbins, brother Staton Cummings, granddaughter Harmonie Harrell

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, April 9, 2018 in Cummings-Gay Cemetery, Macclesfield with the Rev. Don Causey officiating.

Mr. Cummings is survived by his sons, David Cummings, of Tarboro, Josh Cummings (Barbara), of Macclesfield; daughter, Maggie "Beth" Morris of Macclesfield; sisters, Mary Walters  of Pinetops, Sara Gardner of Macclesfield; grandchildren, David Cummings Jr. of Tarboro, Laura Cummings of Tarboro, Chris Davis of Hickory, Kim Cummings of Macclesfield;  Kevin Davis, of Old Sparta; great-grandchildren, , Chelsea Davis, of Tarboro, Brandon Davis, of Old Sparta, Tyler Davis, of Old Sparta, Jaylen Davis, of Old Sparta, Derrick Davis of Old Sparta, Charlie Davis of Hickory and Brayden Stokes of Macclesfield.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Carlisle Funeral Home.
