Charles Joseph "Joe" Harris, 66, passed away on November 30, 2021.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 3 P.M. at Word of Life International Church, Tarboro, NC.

He was retired from the N.C.D.O.T. He had a great love for his family and church family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Charles Harris and Janet McCullen Harris; and sister, Teresa Harris Blake.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Janice "Lightning" Harris; daughter, Rachel Knight (Henry); son, Jason Scott Harris; brother, William Jeffery Harris (Christina Scott Harris); sister, Cindy Cassady; three grandchildren, Stephany "Speedo" Perry (Fiancé Greg Brantley), Alayna Harris, Devin Harris; fur baby, Teah; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2021, 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Word of Life International Church.
