Charles was a devoted son, and he loved his mother so much. He was employed at LS Cable for 30 years. He loved spending time at the family home on the Pamlico River. Over the years he and the family hosted many 4th of July celebrations with pig pickings and fireworks. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his beloved Harley Davidson. Charles was known to be quite the practical joker! He relished in making those around him laugh and wonder what he would do next! He always had to find just the perfect gifts for his family members, especially the kids. He will be missed by so many.
"The colors of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky, are also faces of people going by, I see friends shaking hands saying, 'how do you do', they're really saying 'I love you'… and I think to myself, what a wonderful world"
A cause that was important to him was St. Judes. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Judes so that the important research and treatment of childhood diseases can continue.
