IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles Brandon
Woolard
November 29, 1985 – June 25, 2025
With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Brandon Woolard of Tarboro, North Carolina, who left this world far too soon on June 25, 2025, at the age of 39.
Brandon was a devoted husband, a proud father, a fiercely loyal friend, and the joyful heart of his family. His quick wit, boundless kindness, and deep love for others left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He didn't just exist, he imprinted.
Brandon graduated from East Carolina University and devoted much of his life to working at the family-owned restaurant, a place he loved and remained a part of from his teen years until his passing.
Outside of work, Brandon was an unapologetic lover of all things; comics, video games, movies, and music. His enthusiasm was infectious, and he brought magic to every fandom, every meal, every quiet moment with his family.
Brandon is survived by his loving wife, Tara, their cherished son, Charlie, who will carry his light forward always. He is also remembered with love by his parents, Bud and Shirley Woolard, and his mother-in-law, Eileen Marallo.
He will be deeply missed by his Uncle Robbie Peele (Mary), Uncle Eddie Peele (Elaine), beloved Aunt Pam Peele, Uncle Calvin Woolard (Nancy), Uncle Billy Woolard (Connie), Aunt Judy Woolard McGowen, and Aunt Rose Barfield.
As Brandon was an only child, he loved and thought of his cousins as his siblings. He is survived by cousins, Tracy Babb Pinner (Robbie), along with their children/ his adored nephew and niece Liam and Brynlee Pinner, cousins; Eric Peele, Kelsey Peele Moreno, and Joshua Peele (Melissa), along with their spouses and children. He has many other cousins and family who will miss him as well.
Brandon was preceded in death by his cousin, Angie Peele Pollard.
Brandon's legacy is one of deep love, everyday joy, and fierce devotion.
He will be forever missed. Fiercely loved.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly welcomes **donations or gift cards** to support Tara and Charlie as they begin to navigate life without him. Brandon was the heartbeat of their home, and stepping into this new chapter, while holding tight to his love, will take time and community. If you feel led, contributions and shared memories are deeply appreciated.
