Christine "Toot" Crisp, 90, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 with her family by her side.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 17, 2022 at 2:30 PM, Carlisle Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Chatt officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30–2:30 PM at the funeral home.

Christine retired from Tarboro Clinic after 30 years of service. For many years she worked by her son Ron's side at Suburban Grill. She was affectionately known as Toot to her friends and customers. She enjoyed cooking, baking bread for Christmas, known for her homemade chicken salad and chicken-n-rice at the grill. To all who knew and loved her, she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving family, including sons, Wayne Crisp (Dottie), Ron Crisp (Donna), Doug Crisp (Lynn) and Tim Crisp (Tracy); her fur baby, Abby; grandchildren, Autumn Ware, Dana Griffin, Brett Crisp, Eric Crisp, Tanner Crisp and Jessica Hudson; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, E.C. Pollard; her special friends, Anne Crockett, Norma Armstrong, and Sheila Pitt Walters.
