Christopher Dane Pierce, 59, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 11, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

A memorial service will held at 11:00am on Monday, October 15, at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Batts officiating.

Chris was born in Greenville, Pa. on May 23, 1959 to Gilbert Pierce and Mary Ellen Pierce. There was a special place in his heart for children and animals. He had a great love and connection with both.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Terry Allen Pierce.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Bonnie Pierce; sons, Christopher Daniel Pierce and wife Patricia, Timothy Dane Pierce and wife Amy; grandchildren, Megan Pierce, Terry Pierce, Victoria Pierce; nieces that he loved like daughters, Lynnetta Shoop and Kimberly Davenport; brothers, Gary Pierce, of Manheim, Pa., Nelson Pierce, of Lancaster, Pa.; and sister, Tracey Snyder, of Elizabeth, Pa.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday at Carlisle Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00pm.
