Clarence B. Bunting, Jr. (CB) passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 13, 2023 in Greenwood Cemetery, Tarboro, NC.

Visitation with the family will follow the service.

CB was born December 18, 1924 in Edgecombe County to the late Clarence B. Bunting, Sr. and Maybell Lewis Bunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracey Bunting Purvis; sisters, Lillie B. Jones and Mabel B. Dunn.

CB is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sue O. Bunting; his children, Janero B. Stokes (Ed), CB Bunting, III (Kaye), John Bunting (Mary), son-in-law, David Purvis; grandchildren, Amy S. Trunnell (Glenn), Lorrie S. Gold (Russ), Mary S. Weaver (Jim), Clarence Bunting, IV, Katie Bunting, Ashley B. Rivers; many great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas L. Bunting (Jean); brother-in-law, Henderson Rose; and many nieces and nephews.
