Clarence Patrick "Pat" Dawson, age 88, of Tarboro passed away at his home on February 25, 2018.

Pat worked for many years at Long Manufacturing Co.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucy Sullivan Dawson and father, Fred Dawson.

Pat is survived by his wife, Grace Small Dawson of the home; daughter, Darlene D. Bass and husband Charles of Tarboro; two grandchildren, Scott and Brent Radosevich, both of Tarboro; three brothers, Herbert R. Dawson, of Elizabeth City, Thomas W. Dawson, of Elizabeth City and Joshua Dawson, of Tarboro; three sisters, Melba D. Martin, of Wilson, Kay Lockey, of Murfreesboro, and Grace D. Waters, of Rocky Mount; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Pat's Life will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 2:00Pm in Edgecombe Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Lamont Hemminger.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, 605 N. Main St, Tarboro, NC 27886.
