Clarence Summers Wiblin, 78, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 7:00 pm, Carlisle Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Hendricks officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 23, in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery, Forest City, N.C. with full military honors.

Clarence proudly served his country in the U. S. Army, retiring after 21 years as a Sergeant First Class. He was member of Penders Chapel Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed worshiping God and loved to fellowship with others.

He is survived by his loving family, including his wife of 35 years, Norma Miller Wiblin; sisters, Rose Ann Sikes and Lula E. DeFelice; brother, Claude M. Wiblin;

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 20, from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at Carlisle Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
