Clifton Earl "Pete" Rawls, 78, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, May 24, in Edgecombe Memorial Park with Pastor Phillip Boseman officiating.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Earl Rawls and Mary Reed Pitt Rawls; and several siblings.

He is survived by his loving family which includes his sisters, Sarah Grimsley; Ruth Keel and husband Paul, Shirley Rawls; brother, Ernest Rawls; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives at Carlisle Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00pm, and other times at the home of Ernest Rawls, 1110 Newsome St., Tarboro, NC 27886.
