Colleen Cooper Davenport peacefully met her Savior on Sunday, November 29, 2020. Born on August 28, 1926, she was the daughter of Carl Mann Cooper & Ruby Bunn Cooper of Nashville, NC. She was the sister of Kendall Carl Cooper & Mariah Cooper, both deceased. Colleen was a proud graduate of Peace Collage & the radiology department of Duke Hospital, where she practiced before marriage . She met the love of her life, James Emerson Davenport, a graduate of the Naval Academy, and traveled the world with him & their two daughters, Karen Davenport Andrus of Tarboro & Lacy Davenport Michaluck, deceased. Upon moving to Tarboro in retirement, she had moved 28 times & had enjoyed every minute of it. She loved to entertain , especially at the family farm in Nashville, garden, cook, and tell jokes. Her laugh was legendary. She leaves behind her daughter Karen, her grandchildren James Logue Andrus & wife Julia of Enfield, Tara Colleen Webb & husband Bryan Webb of Macclesfield, Nicholas Michaluck of Michigan & Kendall Michaluck, deceased. Great grandchildren include James L. Andrus, Jr., Trenton James Hill & Ava Grace Hill. Step great grandchildren include Cory Webb & Tommie Webb.
