Dallas Theo Harrington, 84, died Monday, June 15, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Dallas was a good Christian man who always had a smile on his face. He loved to make people laugh and never met a stranger.

He is proceeded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Doris Harrington and his parents Charlie and Ethel Harrington. Brothers Rev. Eugene Harrington, Clayton Harrington, and William Earl Harrington.

He was born in Edgecombe County on May 11, 1936. Leaving to cherish his loving memory his wife of 5 years, Lynda Harrington. Two daughters, Kim Matthews and husband Tim of Nashville. Donna Foreman and husband Robert of Tarboro. Two grandchildren Mara Caitlin Matthews; and Brittany and fiance Mike Kinnin. Great grandchildren Kaden, Chanler, and Teegan Coker; Mason and Emersyn Kinnin. One sister, Ethel Metters and husband Charles. Brothers Luther Harrington Sr. and Hosey Harrington Sr. Step-children Susie Rice and husband Melvin. Eddie Adams and wife Monica and their children and grandchildren. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends who he loved dearly.

A service to celebrate a life well lived will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at West Wilson Church of God with Rev. Steve Edmondson and Patsy Jones officiating. Visitation prior from 1-2 and other times at the home of Donna and Robert Foreman. 6011 US Highway 258 South, Tarboro, NC 27886.
