Daniel Lee Mills, of Bethel NC, took his last breath on Thursday, May 23rd, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.

Daniel was born June 15th, 1972, in Edgecombe County. He is preceded in death by his mother Betty Louise Mills Luper and father Clifton Lee Mills.

Daniel is survived by his two sons, Dustin and Austin Mills of Pitt County, his granddaughter Natalie, his brother Wayne Mills and wife Cynthia of Virginia Beach, VA, and his two nieces Abigail Mills and Caroline Mills.

Daniel was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed talking to his sons and putting smiles on the faces of his friends around him. In his younger years of life, he was an equipment operator and did a little bit of tree trimming.

The family will receive friends and family at Carlisle Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 1 PM until 2 PM. A Celebration of Daniel's Life will be held in the Chapel of Carlisle Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 2 PM.
