David Allen Pierce, age 54, passed away at Vidant Medical Center on Wednesday, January 22, 2020.

He was surrounded by his loving family when he transitioned to his eternal home Heaven. He was born on August 14, 1965 in Tarboro, NC to the late Allen Pierce, Jr. and Hilda Gray Pierce.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Edgecombe Memorial Park.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Holly, children Dustin and Stacy, brother Jeff and wife Tammy, and grandchildren Austyn, Chloe, Avery, and Jackson.

David graduated from Tarboro High School in 1984, where he played football, baseball, and made lifelong friendships with his classmates. He retired from the Town of Tarboro where he was a water treatment operator. David enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved the outdoors and had a gift for art and drawing.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday night from 6:00-8:00 PM at Carlisle Funeral Home.
