Obituary
David Whitehurst, Sr., 76, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022 at his home.
David was born in Edgecombe County to Harvey and Thelma Whitehurst.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Bryant, and Bill Whitehurst.
He retired from Superior Cable Co. after many years of service. David will be missed by all his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Regina Coppock Whitehurst; son David Whitehurst, Jr, and his wife Sommer; grandson, Carson Whitehurst; brother, Phillip Whitehurst; sister, Mamie Morris.
Graveside will be Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Edgecombe Memorial Park at 2:00 P.M.
