Dawn Piver Woody, 55 of Scotland Neck went to her lifelong home in Heaven on Saturday, August 26th, 2023 at ECU Medical Center surrounded by loved ones.

Dawn was proceeded in death by her infant daughter Sarah Brooks Woody, father Bill Piver, sister Catherine McCutcheon, paternal grandparents Roy and Minnie Bell Piver, maternal grandparents Joe and Ella Whitehurst.

She leaves behind a son Joshua Woody and wife Carmen of Tarboro, daughter Erica Hardison and husband CJ of Williamston, niece Emily McCutcheon of Tarboro, mother Alma Mills of Tarboro, a very special Uncle Tom Piver (Uncle T) and wife Jean of Tarboro, along with other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many lifelong friends whom she loved so dearly.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 30th, 2023 at First Pentecostal Holiness Church Tarboro NC from 1pm-2pm. Immediately following a Celebration of Dawns life will be held at 2pm also at the church. Entombment will follow at Edgecombe Memorial Park on Highway 258.
