Debra "Debbie" Cherry Proctor, 70, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024.

Debra's loves were to cook for her family and fish at the Outer Banks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Finnie T. and Mildred Lucas Cherry.

Debra is survived by her husband, Wayne Proctor; daughter, Cheryl Moore and husband John of Lexington, NC; brother, Finnie Cherry, Jr. and wife Joyce of Tarboro, NC; sisters, Linda Pulliam and husband Deemus of Greensboro, Ruby Lancaster and husband Jimmy of Elm City, NC, Priscilla Winchester and husband Larry of Tarboro, NC; grandsons, Josh Moore and wife Cassie and Matt Moore of Lexington, NC; great grandson, Luke Moore of Lexington, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1 – 2pm pm Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Carlisle Funeral Home.

A celebration of Debra's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Carlisle Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Edgecombe Memorial Park.
