Derick Christopher Coker, 36, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018.

There will be a Celebration of Life held for Derick on Saturday, June 23, from 3:00-5:00pm at 2596 Pinewater Lane, Greenville, NC 27834. All of Derick's family and friends are highly encouraged to come share stories, memories, and celebrate the wonderful life of Derick Coker.

Derick enjoyed life in whatever he was doing, but his favorite hobbies included fishing, hunting, Tarheel basketball, being at the coast with his wife and daughter, who he called his "girls", or just hanging out with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Arnold B. Coker.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife, Bobbie Jo Coker; daughter, Emma C. Coker; mother, Cathy Braddy and husband Rodney; father, Denis Coker and wife, Cindy; sister, Lindsey Luckey and husband, Tim; nieces, Ashlynn and Brooklyn Luckey, Gracie Jo Brown, Kimberly Lugo; nephew, Joey Hernandes; paternal grandmother, Ethel B. Coker; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Janie Abbott; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Darlene and Eddie Brown, of Beulaville, NC; brother-in-law, Chris Brown; sister-in-law, Amanda Brown; and his fur babies, Ty Coker and Cam Coker. Derick will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a college fund set up for Derick's pride and joy, Emma. Further details will be available at the Celebration of Life Service.
