Diane Walston Fisher passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
Diane was a longtime employee of BarcaLounger, where she took great pride in her work and built lasting relationships with the people she worked alongside and for. She left a positive mark on everyone she encountered, both professionally and personally, through her kindness, dedication, and genuine love for others.
Diane shared a deep and unwavering love for her own mother, a bond that was truly special to her. She devoted herself to making sure her mother was cared for, always doing everything within her power to help, support, and be there for her. Just as she did with her children and grandchildren, Diane put her mother’s needs before her own, never hesitating to give her time, love, and anything else she could. Her devotion was a beautiful reflection of the selfless heart she carried throughout her life and the deep love she had for her family.
Above all else, Diane cherished being a grandmother. Nothing brought her greater joy than loving on her grandchildren and doing anything and everything she could for them. She had a selfless heart and a giving spirit, always putting the needs of others before her own. Whether through a helping hand, a thoughtful gesture, or simply the love she gave so freely, Diane touched countless lives and made people feel cared for in ways that will never be forgotten.
Diane found peace and happiness at the beach, where she loved the calming rhythm of the waves and the peacefulness of the ocean. Much like the gentle waves she loved so dearly, her presence brought comfort, warmth, and a sense of peace to those around her.
Diane’s life was a beautiful reflection of love, generosity, and devotion to others. Her impact reaches far beyond the years she spent with us, living on in the hearts of her family, friends, coworkers, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her. She will be remembered for the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the countless ways she made the world a little better simply by being in it.
Preceded in death by her father, Johnny Walston and her brother, David Walston.
Survived by her mother, Daisy Pearl Radford Walston, daughter, Jamie Crews, and her grandchildren Austin Crews and Briana Crews.
Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 pm on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Carlisle Funeral Home with the service following at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Burial will follow at 4:00 pm at Marsh Swamp Church.
