Donald Ray "Duck" Adcock, 69, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family.

Donald was the most giving and loving daddy, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, son, uncle and truly amazing friend, like no other.  He loved his family and those close to him more than anything else in the world.  If there was something anyone needed, he was there to help, no questions asked.  His most favorite thing to do, that made him happy and feel needed, was to spend time at the Pac House Grill, helping his sister Lisa, whether it was waiting tables for her or just sitting at the bar talking and seeing everyone.  He would arrive at the grill most days before her.  It was the highlight of his day.  He loved people, gambling, fishing and the Dallas Cowboys!  He never knew a stranger.

Donald leaves to cherish his memory his son, Donald Ray Adcock, Jr. and wife Ashley; daughter, Kelley Taylor; son, Steven Sills and wife Casey; daughter, Michelle Driver and husband John; grandchildren, Jackson, Madison, Georgia, Elecktra, Jayden, Damon, Rhyan, Austin, Hunter and Haley; great grandson, Jackson; sisters, Lisa Adcock and husband Bobby, Jean Tripp and husband Johnny, Pam Saburn and husband Eddie; brother, Ricky Adcock, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his mother and father, Shirley and Leonard Adcock; brother, Leonard Adcock, Jr.; daughter, Ashley Bass; and special friend, Judy Floyd.

A Celebration of Donald's life will be held in the chapel of Carlisle Funeral Home on March 8, 2025, at 3:00 PM, with visitation from 2:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service.  Interment will follow the service at Edgecombe Memorial Park.
